June 30, 2024Epoxy acrylate resins are oligomers containing epoxy and acrylate groups, which are known for properties such as durability, hardness, flexibility and high chemical resistance. These resins combine the beneficial properties of both epoxy and acrylate resins, resulting in materials with high hardness, excellent adhesion, and chemical resistance. These resins are typically cured using ultraviolet (UV) light, making them ideal for rapid manufacturing processes.
Epoxy acrylate resins cure quickly under UV light, significantly reducing production time. These resins have excellent mechanical resistance and durability and are suitable for use in harsh environments. Despite their high hardness, these resins maintain a degree of flexibility that allows them to be used on a variety of substrates.
Epoxy acrylate resins are well suited for the production of OPV topcoats due to their fast curing times and excellent adhesion properties. OPV varnishes are used to protect and enhance the print, providing a glossy or matte finish that is resistant to wear and chemicals. These resins are also used in the coating of wooden, metal and plastic surfaces, high performance adhesives and printing inks.
Epoxy acrylate resins are an important component in many industrial applications, especially in coating varnishes. Fast curing time, high hardness and chemical resistance make them an excellent choice for improving the durability and appearance of printed materials.
